A number of people burned the facilities of the H Dimurthala Stadium in Lampineung, Aceh because they were disappointed because they failed to watch League 2, which brought together Persiraja Banda Aceh and PSMS Medan, which was canceled.

The Persiraja Banda Aceh vs PSMS Medan match, which was originally scheduled to be held on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 20.30 WIB, had to be postponed because the lights at the H. Dimurthala Stadium went out and did not turn on.

Feeling disapproved. A number of spectators who were present at the stadium vented their disappointment by burning a number of facilities in the stadium.

At first, the crowd burned the sponsor boards, then the goal nets, benches, and the stands of the spectators. The crowd started to go crazy after the committee officially announced the match was postponed and rescheduled.

After the announcement, some of the audience left the stadium. However, some others went on a rampage to burn the stadium facilities belonging to the Banda Aceh City Government.

Indeed, the 2022 Liga 2 Match is scheduled to be held at the H Dimurthala Stadium in Banda Aceh and is scheduled to start at 20.30 WIB.

However, because the stadium lights went out about 5 minutes before the match, the match was postponed.

Until this news was revealed, there had been no official statement from the Persiraja management regarding the blackout of the lights in the stadium, but news circulated that the lights were off due to a faulty engine.

A total of three firefighters were on standby in front of the H Dimurthala Stadium. Now, the task of PT Liga Indonesia is to reschedule the Persiraja vs PSMS Medan match.
