UEFA officially released the results of the 2022/2022 Champions League (UCL) draw, Thursday (25/8/2022) which was held in Istanbul, Turkey.
From the results of the division of the Champions League groups, there are several groups that are relatively tougher than other groups.
Let’s say group E, AC Milan and Chelsea. Champions League Group H, PSG and Juventus must compete.
Meanwhile, in Group C, Bayern Munich is back in the same group with Barcelona. This is a repeat of last season’s group and of course the 8-2 tragedy that will always be remembered.
In Group G the Champions League is also interesting because there are Manchester City and Dortmund. This is a reunion event for an Erling Haaland.
While the defending champions of the Champions League, Real Madrid tend to be in the easy group. Benzema et al are in Group F with RB Leipzig, Shaktar Donetsk and Celtic.
The creation of this hell group had been predicted beforehand. The reason is, from pot 1 which is clearly seeded to pot 4 which is non-seeded, there are top European clubs.
In the draw for the Champions League, each group is drawn from each pot by closing the possibility of teams from one country
The 2022-2023 Champions League will be held from 6 September 2022 to 10 June 2023, while the drawing process for the group phase will be held on Thursday (25/8/2022).
