Garuda Media– Elkan Baggott impressed while defending Gillingham against Carlisle United and in one moment he had torn apart the opponent’s defense and then almost scored a goal.
The Indonesian national team defender has regained the trust of appearing with Gillingham against Carlisle United in the 2022/2023 League Two or Third Division English League match.
The match was held at the opponent’s headquarters at Brunton Park Stadium on Saturday (27/8) night WIB.
In this match Baggott appeared as a starter by occupying the position of left back in a 3-4-3 formation.
Baggott showed an impressive performance in this match. He not only managed to ward off the opponent’s attacks several times, but Baggott also had one good moment.

Unfortunately, Baggott’s shot was too easily secured by Carlisle’s goalkeeper, Toma Holy.
In this match Baggott played fully from the start until the match ended with a 0-1 position for Carlisle’s victory.
This is Baggott’s sixth appearance in League Two 2022/2023. But overall Baggott has defended Gillingham in eight matches with two of them in the English League Cup.
