Garuda Media– Manchester United managed to beat Arsenal with a landslide score of 3-1 in the English League match at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester, Sunday (4/9).
The Red Devils – the nickname of Manchester United managed to dominate the game. Several punctures through individual action when approaching the Arsenal penalty box.
Nevertheless. In the 12th minute, Arsenal actually managed to net the ball against Manchester United through Gabriel Martinelli’s flick after continuing Sambi’s pass from midfield.
But the goal was eventually disallowed because Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard had a foul first when he snatched the ball from Eriksen’s feet which was then picked up by Sambi to send in Martinelli’s pass.
Arsenal are able to continue to press MU. In the 32nd minute a header from Martinelli was able to threaten the MU goal. However, Martinelli’s header can still be blocked by De Gea.
But it was United who were finally able to take the lead through Antony’s goal in the 34th minute after continuing a through ball from Rashford after working together nicely with Sancho.
MU also managed to maintain a 1-0 advantage until the first half ended.
At the beginning of the second half Arsenal immediately took the initiative to attack. An attack in the 55th minute was able to threaten the MU goal by hitting De Gea’s crossbar.
In the 58th minute, Antony was replaced by Cristiano Ronaldo. In the 60th minute Arsenal were able to score the equalizer through Bakayo Saka’s kick.
This goal came from Odegaard’s through ball to Gabriel Jesus, but the ball was cut off by Malacia. But Malacia’s intercept ball went to Saka’s feet and was cleared into a goal.
But MU managed to regain the lead to 2-1 through Rashford’s goal after continuing Bruno Fernandes’ breakthrough bait that split Arsenal’s defense.
Even Rashford was able to bring United back to widen the advantage to 3-1 through his second goal in the 75th minute after continuing Eriksen’s pass.
Until the end of the game no additional goals were created. Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1.
This victory made Manchester United move up to fifth place in the Premier League standings with 12 points from six matches.
Meanwhile, Arsenal remain at the top of the Premier League standings with 15 points.
